Pedal with a Purpose: Ride, Walk, and Give Back with the Brady Faith Center
On Saturday, June 14th, Syracuse will come together for an event that moves both body and spirit—the Bike & Walk for Brady Community Fun Day. Hosted by the Brady Faith Center, this day of biking, walking, and community celebration helps fund life-changing programs that uplift the Syracuse Southside neighborhood.
The Brady Faith Center serves as an oasis of hope, peace, and justice for families and individuals facing economic and social challenges. With twenty unique programs, the center works to strengthen the fabric of the Southside community by fostering relationships, restoring dignity, and expanding opportunities for all.
One standout program is Pedal to Possibilities, a transformative initiative that invites participants on group bike rides three times per week—year-round. After completing ten rides, participants can earn their own bike, helmet, and lock. What might seem like a simple bike ride to some becomes a consistent, healing rhythm and a gateway to independence for many. This program, along with nineteen others offered by the Brady Faith Center, is made possible through events like this one.
We’re proud to share that Howard Triche, licensed real estate agent with BELL Home Team and a former Brady Faith Center board member, will once again be participating in the ride. Howard’s continued support of this organization reflects his deep commitment to serving the community both on and off the bike trail.
