That’s why we make it a priority to support local causes, participate in events, and uplift those around us.

Charity and Giving Back

Throughout the years, we had the privilege of supporting some truly incredible local organizations, events, and initiatives. Here’s a look back at some of the ways BELL Home Team gave back to the Syracuse area in recent years:

The Season of Giving – At BELL Home Team, we believe in the power of community and generosity. In 2024, we kicked off our Diaper Drive in partnership with the CNY Diaper Bank—a true success story! Thanks to the generosity of our community and the dedication of our team, we donated 1,700 diapers and contributed $1,000 to this vital cause, supporting nearly 200 babies and easing essential needs for local families. Our holiday efforts have also made a difference, with past giveaways for MCC: Mother’s & Children in Crisis—providing grocery store gift cards to over 30 families—and our support of the Dr. Weeks School Community Program, which provided food for families during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Supporting Local Businesses – This past Valentine’s Day, we celebrated love and community by giving away a handmade gift basket filled with delectable treats from Speech Candy Co., a cherished local, family-owned business. Sharing this sweetness not only brightened our community’s day but also underscored our commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs. Our passion for community extends to backing causes like Tiny Home For Good, Inc.—where our monetary contributions help create affordable, safe, and dignified homes while fostering strong local partnerships.

Community Service Initiatives – We regularly participate in and contribute to local charity events, because giving back is at the heart of what we do.  We take pride in supporting local organizations that make a difference, whether through sponsorships, volunteer work, or fundraising efforts.

This past year, we had the honor of sponsoring a team with Y.E.O.P., helping empower youth in inner-city schools. We also made meaningful monetary contributions to the Rescue Mission’s Ride & Run for the Rescue and the Mission Possible Golf Tournament, supporting critical services for those in need.

Our commitment to community outreach extended to the LAUNCH CNY 11th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament, where we participated as honorary chairpersons, as well as the SADA Charity Preview, which helped raise funds for Silver Fox Adult Day Centers—an organization we proudly support both financially and through board service. Additionally, we dedicate our time to the Board of Directors for both Silver Fox Adult Day Centers and Syracuse Children's Theater, ensuring these vital programs continue to thrive.

Beyond these initiatives, we’ve also contributed to the Special Olympics, rolled up our sleeves for the Town of DeWitt Annual Earth Day Clean-Up, and continued our participation in Hope for Heather events, raising awareness and support for ovarian cancer research.
