Sugar Bush Saturdays
Every Saturday in March, from 10 AM to 1 PM, the sugarbush welcomes visitors for an immersive experience in the art of maple syrup production. Join us for continuous tours of the sugarbush, included with park admission, and learn about the fascinating process of turning maple sap into delicious syrup. While admission is free, reservations are required in advance for large adult or youth groups of 10 or more. Located just 0.3 miles down the Woodland Trail, our sugarbush awaits your exploration. Along the way, engage your maple syrup knowledge by answering maple-themed questions posted on trees. Be sure to dress warmly to brave the chilly winter weather and fully enjoy the outdoor tour of the sugarbush.
Pancake Breakfasts
Indulge in a delicious start to your day with Pancake Breakfasts at Beaver Lake Nature Center! On the first four Saturdays in March from 9 AM to 12 PM for a mouthwatering meal featuring pancakes, sausage, local maple syrup, and your choice of beverage. Whether you fuel up before embarking on your sugarbush adventure or savor the meal afterward, the breakfast is sure to satisfy. With prices ranging from $3 to $7 depending on your appetite, it's an affordable treat for the whole family. Please note that park admission fees of $5 per car apply. No reservations are required, so simply show up and enjoy! Plus, by indulging in our Pancake Breakfast, you're supporting the Friends of Beaver Lake and their efforts to preserve and enhance this beautiful natural space.
